I have learned quit a bit from deadline #3. I now know that before you should write any type of document, that you research the audience that you are going to be presenting to. If you don’t have the basics, like understanding how your audience communicates, then when you write your document, they will have a hard time understanding, especially if you have to translate it.
To be honest, I am still trying to break down the rest in my mind, so I don’t have a lot to say now. I do know that understanding ethics is important. What may be funny or interesting to one person, may not be such a good idea to tell another.

What do I think about mindmeister?? Well, where to I start? I have truly no idea how to do this thing. I am so confused about how to take notes this way because I am a different kind of visual person. How do I take notes you ask?? Well unfortunately (some may say) I use pictures… It help me remember things. For example on page 6 of our Dobrin textbook, it has a diagram on gun safety. The pictures and the words below help me remember what is important. I understand the concept, in many ways this would be a good way to notate what I just read in a book. It’s just more difficult for me… Also why trying to make it work, I am having trouble changing fields. So I don’t know, I will be working on my mind map, I may just not be as elaborate with it like everyone else. So if you have any ideas to help me, that would be awesome. Reply back to me what you think!

I have my roommate showing me how to do this…. apparently he uses this kind of things on paper and since I have now shown him a new technology… he is more than happy to help me incorporate my thoughts on this thing here… hope it help! YEAH!

I used the picture of the new apple computer, just because the quote started off as “the newest computer”… lol… I then used bush because a lot of his mistakes came from his inability to communicate properly (ok, in my mind – some may think he was wonderful – but to each their own). The world had to do with all of “US”, the people who were effected by that non-communication. The last picture was basically a person being confronted… Something that they thought technology could handle, they are now in front of an audience trying to explain the after effect…

Hello World. My name is Shanterra!
How I will complete my course??? Where do I begin??? Taking the time to actually write everything down that I do on a daily basis was… well, WOW! I didn’t realize that my life is so hectic right now. I have something to do everyday! Basically, I’m doing my classes in the middle of well, A LOT! I do plan on finishing my course and making time for me to study! I am a mom, a student, a server, a customer service rep and a reality tv star! (well not a star yer, but hopefully after this season of STRUT… I will be!)
This is how I plan on completing this course!
I am purchasing a laptop for myself and making sure I can get on the internet anywhere! (thanks cricket!) I have made a schedule for me and I plan to have my homework turned in the beginning of the week versus the end. That way I push myself and I’m not waiting til the last-minute to turn an assignment in.
Currently now at my day job, it’s very slow and I received permission to do classwork, so I can stay on top of things. (Our manager gives incentives for good grades, so they smile on us reading class material.) During shoots, until I get my laptop, my modeling director said I can use his computer to turn in assignments and make me a folder on his desktop for me to access any material I may need. (I just shoot him an email and he adds it, for when there is something new I have to work on)
I am so ready! Being in the entertainment life… Finding new ways to express what I want to say is awesome! Thats why I chose this multimedia writing class. I hope to learn many ways of writing and be able to use them in my future!

I first chose the course because I needed a HU/C to graduate. Then I read a little more about the class. Multimedia Writing! Oh, yes in deed… Something that I love… Writing and multimedia (I’m a big computer nerd.)
